Chief Ministers relief fund aims at providing immediate relief to the people in distress in the State of Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister Relief fund provides financial assistance to the people affected by the major natural calamities like Ailments,Flood,Drought,Fire Accident etc.
CMPRF is exempt under Income Tax Act, 1961 under Section 10 and 139 for return purposes. Contributions towards CMPRF are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Single Payment may be done via Domestic Debit/Credit cards and Net banking. It is 100% exempted as per Income Tax Act, Section 80G.
Single Payment may be done with the list of Individuals and 100% exempted as per Income Tax Act, Section 80G and we accept all Domestic Debit/Credit cards and Net banking.

TN CMPRF accepts online contribution through this Portal. You can click the Make Contribution option and fill the online donation form. It will lead you to the payment gateway where you can pay through 50+ Net Banking / Major Credit and Debit Cards / Wallets / Cash Card / UPI.
1. Online Donation through this portal: TN CMPRF accepts online contribution through 50+ Net Banking / Major Credit and Debit Cards / Wallets / Cash Card / UPI. Receipt can be taken immediately after successful contribution and Receipt in PDF file as an attachment will be sent to the email of the contributor.
2. Donation can also be made using UPI-VPA as tncmprf@iob. Contributors can e-mail the details of transactions along with Name, Address, Mobile Number and E-mail Id to jscmprf[at]tn[dot]gov[dot]in for obtaining receipt.
3. Offline donation through Cheque / Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund” to be sent to The Joint Secretary to Government and Treasurer, Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund, Finance (CMPRF) Department, Secretariat, Chennai – 600 009. Tamil Nadu. India along with Name, Address, Mobile No. and E-mail ID of the contributor.
Receipt can be taken immediately after successful contribution and Receipt in PDF file as an attachment will be sent to the email of the contributor.
The contributor can also download donation receipt for successful transaction by visiting ‘Transaction History’ Section of the TN CMPRF portal at any point of time.
In case the amount is debited in the bank account and receipt could not be generated due to power failure or Internet link failure, please click “Transaction History” option. This page contains all the details of the donations made by you with an option “verify”. Click the option “verify” and it will check the status of the transaction in the payment gateway and for successful transaction, receipt will be generated and also it will be sent to the email.
In case the status is returned as “Pending”, please wait for atleast 48 hours to recheck the status. In case the status is updated as failure, then a new transaction can be initiated.
If the amount is not debited from the contributor bank account, then only a new transaction may be initiated.
